New Book Cover!

I woke up this morning and thought, "When's the last time I've updated my blog?"

You know when you're asking those kinds of questions that it's time to go write a new post.  So here I am, ready to share my new book cover.

I'm quite pleased with it. Of course, there's always things I could have done differently.

For example: I wanted to put a thousand foot tall giant somewhere in there, but to do that, the title would just get lost in his ankle, and that would just be ugly. Besides, who would want a book with a giant foot on it? Besides fetishists, I mean. (fetishist is one of those words that always looks misspelled.  Like shiv, or adz)

In terms of this blog, I'm going to work harder on keeping it up to date.

(my next post is going to be a painful one detailing my decision to start charging money for my story.  A fella's got to eat, right?)

Thanks to some internet problems and a desire to spend the last few days of Summer lying on the couch, I haven't uploaded any new cartoons since early last week.  I'm back now, though, ready to tackle whatever life throws my way. (providing it happens after noon.  Any time before that and I'm liable to collapse into a ball on the floor)  Oh, and tomorrow's comic promises to be a dandy, for not only is Positive Rudy wearing a hat, but there's some color as well!

Unlike a lot of authors I read about online, I don't find writing to be a pleasant experience.  Don't get me wrong, I obviously derive something positive from it, or I wouldn't be doing it.  But by and large, writing for me is fraught with worry, and if there was one thing I could ask for to make things easier, it would be a positive version of me to help me with my decision making.  That is what this comic strip is about.
